那天lap cheong 写关于现在的女孩发育神速，十七八岁，身体发育与二十几岁的女孩无异（以亚洲人的标准），而且样子甜美，形容她们年轻又危险。这话题我跟lap cheong 讨论了很多次，我们每天走在街上都会看到类似的女孩，我们都会多看几眼及猜她们几岁，这已成为我们的嗜好之一。无可否认，现在我们平常讨论的这话题，与香港兴起的「o靚模」风潮一样，所以今天我们来看看「o靚模」这东西。
「o靚模」的定义是年纪很小，大多只有二十岁左右，是大眼美女，最大的卖点是可爱和漂亮，身材普通，也不见得很高挑，但却很受年轻人欢迎。「o靚模」已经成为香港年轻人流行指标，更是争相模仿的对象，其实「o靚模」的形成，是因为她们身材不够高挑，所以上不了伸展台走秀，唯有转攻平面舞台。广告商们发现，「o靚模」和真正的Top Model相比，「o靚模」较价廉物美，在少男少女中更有号召力，所以大多的「o靚模」都专攻广告和写真集。「o靚模」的出现颠覆了一般人对Model的要求，只要长得漂亮，你就可以成为Model，不再是以往对身高有严苛的要求。

要论近期香港红爆的「o靚模」，就数周秀娜，超不多全港的八卦杂志封面都上过了，就连香港科技大学也邀请周秀娜去大学分享成功经验，更夸张的是在香港动漫节里推出其个人肖像的抱枕，成为动漫节奇景。她的爆红也引来网友们的炮轰，可笑的是，支持她的人也躲在家里整天上网的宅男，真是“成也网络，败也网络”。其他「o靚模」有Karma，Janice Man和Angelababy，她们都是八卦杂志的常客，也是香港当红的「o靚模」，更有些人有参与电影的演出。尤其Angelababy是「o靚模」界第一把交椅，靓界女神之一，也是「o靚模」界的开山老祖。 Read more…

Hey Gongkias. Recently, me and Ang Gong was sort of discussing about young girls , calling each other paedophiles or Michael Jackson for looking at young girls…girls that are much younger than us. Say, 17 years or younger.
By right, if we follow our modern Malaysian or Asian culture, a 23 year old dating a 15, 16 or 17 year old may seem odd and some people will surely not accept it (especially the girl’s parents!). Thats atleast a 7 year difference. What I noticed is that , yes it may seem odd and discouraged by the society. Not to mention, its jail bait ! Boleh Lock-Up tau !
But I’ve been thinking, mainly about the kids and younger generation in general. It seems that the younger kids around me, are maturing so bloody fast, faster than me or most of the people that grew up with me. My little cousins and all, talk as if they are 18 even though they are 6 years old. Young kids nowadays mature beyond their age. Their body also mature faster than I can say, ‘Illegal’. Read more…
